Visual Thinking Online course - $200

Visual Thinking Online CourseResearch shows that the brain processes visual information faster than auditory information. Visuals are also more memorable than simple auditory information (the brain remembers more from what it sees and hears than what it just hears). And visuals hold viewers’ attention for longer.

If you wish to attract an audience’s attention, sustain it, and make your message more memorable, you will benefit from this on-line Visual Thinking package.

The course contains three 10-minute modules, which teach you how to:

  • visualize facts, proceses, data, and abstracts.
  • use graphical elements such as text, images, lines and shapes.
  • apply specific visual design principles, such as alignment, color, continuation, repetition, and proximity.

Don’t miss the opportunity to leave your audience with a message they will remember.

Better Beginnings uses a clever, witty writing style that is easy to follow and hard to put down. It is full of valuable information with great strategies and tactics to gain your audience’s attention.

I have read many presentation/communication improvement books that talk about using visuals and grabbing your audience’s attention, but they do none of that in their book. Taran, however, practices what she preaches…as she teaches in her book, Taran captures your attention and keeps it!

I would highly recommend, terrific visuals and supportive images…a must for your communication/presentation improvement arsenal.

Must read for veteran or novice speakers!

I fall under the veteran category, having spoken on software for over 15 years and most recently to an audience in excess of 5,000. Better Beginnings has positively affected my Beginnings, Middles and Endings!

The concise and accurate writing makes speakers of any experience truly think about their script, presentation and audience. By presenting the material to invoke thought and not simply pushing theories and experiences lets the reader more effectively conjure their own ‘new approach’ to speaking.

    Kudos Dr. Taran.

EXCELLENT - A MUST READ. “Better Beginnings” should be a part of all presenters and sales professional’s library. It should also be in the curriculum of high potential leadership courses in Fortune 500 companies.

I attended a webinar on this book and had to get it. I’m in the process of reading it now and I love what I’ve read so far. It’s easy to read and I love the layout - with the important addition of the pictures. Thought-provoking pictures. Right-on concepts. I recently took a class purporting to be about “captivating your audience” and it was so unlike this book. I was sorely disappointed. My world is now irrevocably colored, thanks to these concepts. I’ll finish the book soon. Thanks for the opportunity to make my online training presentations more enticing!

    Thanks for the helpful comments.
I was thinking of getting this book as a Christmas present and your comments have help make my mind up.

I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve read it.

I bumped into a review of “Better Beginnings” and was curious. I found it interesting enough to buy a copy. I had initially thought I had purchased just another presentation book. But, this one was different. Interesting, thought provokling and fun to read. Whether Novice or Master presenter, this is a valuable resource to add to your library. You’ll refer to it time and time again. I also decided to take the Online classes and found them interseting and refreshing.

    Well Done to Dr. Taran.
